I’m Tim Wheeler, a photographer and artist born and raised in Benton Harbor, Michigan. I attended Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communication with a focus in Multimedia.
I’m a multifaceted artist, having worked in traditional and digital illustration, graphic design, web design, 3D animation, video production, filmmaking, and photography.
Much of my artistic career was spent in Grand Rapids, but since relocating back to my hometown in 2016, photography has been my primary focus. I’m based out of Benton Harbor but operate throughout West Michigan and Michiana, including Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and South Bend, Indiana.
I specialize in bold, vibrant, expressive portraits and landscapes, and my portfolio covers a wide range including fashion, editorial, product, event, and wedding photography.
